Drummer of the garage-punk band ApplEpie and bassist for The Dead Clams. Ever since he picked up a guitar for the first time at the tender age of ten, he has never let it go. Over the years, more and more instruments were added, but his greatest strength remains his almost outrageously good ear for chords and melodies. In the studio, he has already produced several bands ranging from punk rock and singer-songwriter to his own metal compositions. Still, he refuses to be tied down to any single genre. Like many producers today, he started out with beat-making and is still damn good at it.
He didn’t write his first songs on the guitar until the age of 18, at the same time diving deeper and deeper into singing and songwriting. When he started producing his own ideas together with Isaac, he became completely hooked on the technical side of things. That led him straight into an audio engineering degree at SAE Zurich. In his bachelor’s thesis, he focused on 3D audio and Dolby Atmos. During recording sessions, he knows exactly how to achieve the desired sound so that mixing later on becomes easy. His heart beats for DIY indie pop and indie rock, and this is currently evolving into an EP with Isaac as co-producer. But he stays open to everything: with reggaeton covers and his own bossa nova tracks, he repeatedly reveals new sides of his favorite music.
